Sooners' 2000 title game defensive dominance still not replicated

NORMAN — One play into a defensive conquest for the ages, the Oklahoma Sooners nearly threw out their gameplan.
On the first snap of the 2000 national championship, Florida State Heisman quarterback Chris Weinke threw a strike to Atrews Bell for 35 yards.
